He wears the burgundian cross, in heritage of the Burgundian Netherlands.

Our previous costume was used during the walloon feasts (fêtes de Wallonie) in 2015 for the Charles the Fifth's parade in honour of his joyous entry in Namur in 1515.

At this time, the flagwavers' costume was the same as the stilt walkers' one (on the left). Flagwavers were in white and blue and stilt walkers were (and still are) in red and white.
